A message from Harry Fetherstonhaugh, Clwyd President
What a ghastly, bizarre and unsettling 18 months we have had thanks to covid19, with all Royal Welsh functions being cancelled for the second year running and the added tragedy of some of us losing members of our family and friends.
We are nearly out the other side of the pandemic and it’s time to start to get together and meet up with friends again.
We, in Clwyd are determined to show Wales and beyond that Clwyd Feature County are alive and rearing to go and are greatly looking forward to hosting all the Royal Welsh events next year.
In the meantime we want to reignite our range of fundraising activities which we are kicking off with a caravanning weekend at the Rhug Estate, nr Corwen by kind permission of Lord Newborough on August bank holiday weekend.
We are hoping to garner as much support for the next 18 months and anything that you can do to help would be hugely appreciated; and remember that we must have fun as well as raise money for the Royal Welsh who have had and will continue to have a very difficult time until all the restrictions are lifted.
Lowri, Davina and I greatly look forward to seeing you all soon at future events.
